Available in 3-inch, 5-inch, and 6-inch diameters, these polishing pads backing-plate attachments fit almost any dual-action polisher with a 5/16" thread. EVEN POLISHING: Our dual action polisher backing plates are compatible with 7.5” to 8.5” pads for an even and balanced polishing experience. This flexible polish pad is sturdy enough for adjusting pressure onto your polishing surface conforming to most contours for a smooth finish. EASY TO USE: These buffer and polishing backing plates feature a hook-and-loop fastener for easy attachment to any polishing pad. This gives you easier access to different types of polisher pads so you can buff and polish without having to change the whole backing system. STRONG MATERIAL: Our strong 6 inch backing plate is made with steel studs and premium urethane molding to withstand the power of almost any dual-action polisher. The urethane microfiber pads absorb heat while remaining flexible and firm.
